Sukhyung Kang(b.1989~) accumulates traces upon the canvas through repetitive acts of drawing and erasing, revealing the temporality of painting through impulsive and spontaneous gestures. The layered and erased lines and colors do not settle into fixed narratives or forms, but instead embody a continuous movement between emergence and disappearance. Rather than meticulously planning a final outcome, the artist focuses on the instinctive act of “painting” itself, constructing compositions in which unrefined freedom and intense visual density coexist.
강석형(b.1989~)은 그리고 지우는 반복적 수행을 통해 화면 위에 흔적을 축적하며, 충동적이고 즉흥적인 제스처 속에서 회화의 시간성을 드러낸다. 겹쳐지고 삭제되는 선과 색은 특정한 서사나 형상을 고정하기보다, 생성과 소멸 사이를 끊임없이 왕복하는 과정을 표현한다. 작가는 결과물을 정교하게 계획하기보다 '그리기'라는 본능적 행위 자체에 집중하여 정제되지 않은 자유로움과 높은 시각적 밀도가 공존하는 화면을 구축한다.

Working primarily with photography, she documents objects and spaces to explore the processes of human perception and the uncertainty of cognition. Through the Body Topography series, which transforms fragments of the human body through unfamiliar framing, and the Sensor series, which captures the tension between a professional gaze that accumulates meaning and a private gaze that erases it, her work reveals the acts of selection and omission that occur within the act of “seeing.” The works of Nayeon Kim invites viewers not to consume images passively, but to actively reconstruct them for themselves.
사물과 공간을 사진 매체로 기록하며, 인간의 지각 과정과 인식의 불확실성을 탐구한다. 신체 일부를 낯선 프레이밍으로 변형한 인체지형도 시리즈와, 의미를 수집하는 직업적 시선과 지워내는 사적인 시선 사이의 긴장을 담은 sensor 시리즈를 통해 ‘본다’는 행위 안에서 발생하는 감각의 선택과 삭제를 드러낸다. 김나연의 작업은 관람자가 이미지를 수동적으로 소비하기보다, 스스로 재구성하도록 유도한다.
