Sojeong Moon confronts the void and anxiety of existence, exploring small everyday moments and the structures of relationships as a way to work through them. Carving into wood with a chisel, she inscribes memory and sensation piece by piece, purifying emotion through a process of removing and emptying. The finished prints accumulate in layers on paper, linking different scenes and moments into a new narrative—an accumulation that reveals how individual experiences come together to shape the meaning of life.
문소정은 존재의 허무와 불안을 마주하며, 이를 극복하기 위한 방식으로 일상 속 사소한 순간과 관계의 구조를 탐구해왔다. 작가는 조각칼로 나무판을 파내며 기억과 감각을 하나하나 새겨 넣고, 덜어내고 비워내는 과정을 통해 감정을 한 겹씩 정화한다. 완성된 판화는 종이 위에 겹겹이 쌓이며 서로 다른 장면과 시간들이 연결된 새로운 서사를 형성하고, 이러한 축적은 개별적 경험이 모여 삶의 의미를 구성하는 방식을 드러낸다.
