Untitled reveals traces of the artist’s breath through raw, gestural brushstrokes traversing the canvas. The collision of rugged textures created by these marks moves beyond simple form to manifest a dynamic inner energy. Layered over one another, rich strata of color and intense brushwork harmonize to cultivate an organic rhythm throughout the work.


강석형의 Untitled은 캔버스를 가로지르는 거친 붓질을 통해 작가의 호흡이 머문 흔적을 보여준다. 획이 만들어내는 투박한 질감은 단순한 형상을 넘어 내면의 역동적인 에너지를 나타낸다. 그 위로 겹겹이 쌓인 색의 레이어와 강렬한 붓질이 어우러지며 화면에 유기적인 리듬감을 완성한다.






Within the context of the exhibition Untitled, Ongoing, the work plays as a metaphor for a self that remains undefined, continuously evolving and moving forward. The unconstrained trajectories across the canvas direct our focus toward the process itself rather than a finalized destination.

<Untitled, Ongoing>전의 맥락 안에서 이 작품은 확정되지 않은 채 계속해서 변화하고 나아가는 자아의 상태를 은유한다. 화면 위를 얽매임 없이 가로지르는 궤적들은 완결된 목적지보다 과정 그 자체에 집중하게 만든다.




Encountering the vital energy left on the surface, the viewer is invited to quietly reflect on the ongoing inner narratives unfolding within their own lives.

관람객은 캔버스에 남겨진 생동하는 에너지와 마주하며, 각자의 삶 속에서 여전히 진행 중인 내면의 이야기를 조용히 비추어보게 된다.
