강해찬 개인전 Flowing Moonlight은 여름밤과 겨울 저녁 사이의 미묘한 시간대를 배경으로, 빛과 공기, 온도와 같은 비가시적 요소를 회화적으로 환원해 감각의 흐름으로서의 풍경을 제시하고 관람자의 기억과 감각을 환기하는 전시이다.




Haechan Kang’s solo exhibition Flowing Moonlight explores the fleeting moment where atmosphere, light, and perception intersect, set within the subtle temporal threshold between summer nights and winter evenings. The artist translates intangible elements such as humidity, temperature, and the density of light into painterly form, presenting landscapes not as representations but as residues of lived experience. Through material experiments, including the use of interference pigments, he constructs fluid surfaces in which color and light continuously shift, thereby transforming painting from a fixed image into a flow of sensation. The exhibition traces the trajectory of the artist’s sensorial language developed over the past three years, while inviting viewers to reawaken the landscapes of time embedded within their own memory and perception.

강해찬 개인전 Flowing Moonlight은 여름밤과 겨울 저녁 사이의 미묘한 시간대를 중심으로, 대기와 빛, 감각이 교차하는 순간을 회화적으로 탐구하는 전시이다. 작가는 공기 중의 습기, 온도, 빛의 농도와 같은 비가시적 요소를 화면 위에 환원하며, 재현된 풍경이 아닌 경험의 잔재로서의 풍경을 제시한다. 인터피어런스 물감과 같은 물질적 실험을 통해 색과 빛이 변화하는 유동적 화면을 구성하고, 이를 통해 회화를 고정된 이미지가 아닌 감각의 흐름으로 전환시킨다. 전시는 작가가 지난 3년간 구축해온 감각적 회화 언어의 궤적을 조망하는 동시에, 관람자로 하여금 자신의 기억과 감각 속에 잠재된 시간의 풍경을 다시 환기하도록 이끈다.

The carefully built layers of paint and the shimmering surface loosen the boundary between reality and fantasy, while enveloping the entire canvas to create an atmosphere, an air that evokes a fleeting sensation.

차분히 쌓아간 물감 층과 반짝이는 표면은 현실과 환상의 경계를 느슨하게 만들고 동시에 화면 전체를 뒤덮으면서 찰나의 감각을 상기시키는 분위기 혹은 공기를 만들어낸다.
