Hyoshin Park explores the world of dreams, where afterimages of reality intersect with forms of the unconscious, reconstructing fragments of sensation that emerge at this boundary through painting. Through three series, Fragments of the Threshold captures the fleeting blurring and diffusion that occur in the moment of transition from reality to dream, Fragments of the Strange Forest depicts scenes in which memory intertwines with the unconscious to form new configurations, and Dream Map – Recorded Paths traces the discontinuous impressions left by dreams as pathways, delicately revealing moments in which sensation first begins to respond.
현실의 잔상과 무의식의 형상이 교차하는 꿈의 세계를 탐구하며, 그 경계에서 발생하는 감각의 파편들을 화면 위에 회화로 재구성한다. 현실에서 꿈으로 이행하는 찰나의 흐림과 번짐을 포착한 경계의 조각들, 기억이 무의식과 섞여 새롭게 조직되는 장면을 다룬 이상한 숲의 조각들, 꿈이 남긴 불연속적인 인상을 경로로 기록한 꿈의 지도-기록된 길 세 시리즈를 통해 감각이 반응하는 순간을 섬세하게 드러낸다.
